Description

L’ Italiano is one of yummy Italian restaurants in Da Nang tucked away in a quiet street of An Thuong area. An Italian husband and a Vietnamese wife are the owners. Although small, it’s always crowded with expats and tourists in town. It’s also a popular place for Danangese to come and enjoy real Italian taste.

You will immediately feel welcome the moment you walk in the door. Cozy little space stuffed with wooden tables, the sound of the TV on the wall, and the noise of customers talking… All makes you feel comfortable like at home. Furthermore, many adorable paintings also make this restaurant more interesting. Especially, you can go upstairs and enjoy your food on a rooftop terrace under the stars.

Small restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine

With Italian origin, the owner has expert knowledge of Italian food and it comes out in every dish they serve. All of them are freshly homemade with ingredients imported from Italy, Australia… Because they make it from scratch, you need to wait a little bit but it’s worth the time. The restaurant offers many delicious salads, anti-pastas, pasta dishes, gnocchi, homemade pizza, and calzones. They even have fresh mozzarella and other delicious, authentic Italian cheeses. They also have nice options for vegetarians.

Last but not least, the service is outstanding. Staffs are helpful, attentive and very welcoming. The owner Carmine is also very friendly and takes time to talk with everybody. He can play guitar and sing in many languages (Italian, Chinese, Spanish, and English). With his singing and the cozy atmosphere, you will feel like a big family having dinner all together. He even has a music room, if you like music and the place is not too busy, he will show you and you can have a bit of a jam.

If you want to try good authentic Italian food without the typical “rich tourist prices”, just head to L’Italiano – one of good Italian restaurants in Da Nang.
