Welcome to Da Nang!

Where is Da Nang?

While Hanoi is the trademark of the North and Ho Chi Minh City is the one in the South, Da Nang is the largest one in Central Vietnam. It locates on the Eastern Sea coast, right at the halfway point between these two cities. Ringed by mountains on the left side and the Easter Sea on the right. Furthermore, Da Nang borders Thua Thien-Hue Province (former capital of Vietnam) to the north and Quang Nam Province to the south and west.

Where to go around Da Nang?

The position between mountains and ocean offers Da Nang a charming beauty that you can’t find anywhere else. It has 80-kilometer coastline with many stunning beaches such as My Khe Beach, Non Nuoc Beach, and so on. The impressive backdrop of soft white sand, clear turquoise water, and amazing seafood will give you a great place for relaxation during the day and partying into the night.

Apart from the famous beaches, Da Nang also offers you the breath-taking mountainous view.  First of all, Hai Van Pass is one of the most famous roads in Vietnam. It’s a short but scenic route winding around the mountainside above the sea. In addition to that, the Marble Mountains with a cluster with five marble and limestone hills attracts plenty of tourists every year. Besides, if you come to Da Nang in the summer and want to run away from the heat, you can hide in Ba Na Hills.

What’s more, Da Nang also has a good mix of centuries-old pagodas and French colonial buildings. Since Buddhism is the main religion in Vietnam, there are many big pagodas featuring manicured gardens and beautiful Buddhist sculptures. On the contrary, there are various entertainment hubs for youngsters. They are plazas, shopping centers, cinemas, and so on. If you want to make friend with the locals, these are places you should not miss out.
